Gentle nervous system-focused chiropractic care
Our approach to chiropractic care is about simply allowing that important nervous system to do its job! To do this, we’ve trained extensively in gentle techniques to support the nervous system, and further, help remove interference and tension within it. Because, as mentioned above, every organ system in our body depends on the uninhibited function of your brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
Above all, we stand for empowering you. We take the time to get to know you and your story. When healing happens here, it’s because of your body’s ability to heal, and not any “special powers” in our hands. Whether it’s you, your newborn baby, or even your pet, we believe in first looking at the whole being before us, then looking for a root cause to an issue or set of symptoms, and lastly, creating a plan to correct the issue as opposed to a quick patch-up job. No cookie-cutter care here!
According to the textbook Gray’s Anatomy, “the nervous system controls and coordinates all of the organs and structures of the human body.” Now that’s a really important system! So vital, in fact, that our bodies have a built-in, moveable housing to constantly protect it — our skull and spine.
Both Drs. Andy and Molly have gone to great lengths to assure they are trained in the same cutting-edge techniques. Our doctors share care for practice members, as we deeply believe that having two sets of eyes on your care is better than one. We are Torque Release Technique certified, as well as trained in Webster, MC2, Activator, Network Spinal Analysis, Talsky Tonal, Craniosacral, and Thompson techniques.
Perinatal Chiropractic Care
We believe the carrying and birthing of a child is a beautifully natural process, and together, we share a common goal: safer, easier births. From shorter labor times, to reduced nausea, to decreased pain, to optimal baby positioning... We do believe ‘mom’ is another word for ‘superhero’. We’re thankful to be your sidekick!
So, whether you are trying to conceive or are already pregnant, having a nervous system that is clear and connected creates an optimal environment for a comfortable and healthy pregnancy. When her body is in balance as she undergoes a significant body transformation, a healthy nervous system by means of consistent chiropractic care allows for optimized position, growth, and connection with the newest member of your family. Dr. Molly even does house calls in labor, too!
Two for one! Being trusted to care for expecting moms is one of our greatest honors. Not only do the adjustments help to support mom... they support baby, too! By aiming to restore mom’s pelvic balance, to remove costly spinal subluxation, and to release ligamentous tension... baby gets clear messages and more wiggle room.
Both Drs. Molly and Andy have extensive knowledge in the perinatal field, are Webster-certified perinatal chiropractors, and they can also help guide you in a care direction to fit your particular wants and needs for your birth team. We would be honored to serve you, so that you can have the best pregnancy, labor, and delivery that you have always wanted. Pediatric Chiropractic Care
Since significant spinal trauma can occur during or prior to birth, many families choose to have their newborns checked after birth. And contrary to some belief, the adjustments are incredibly gentle — in fact, most of our kiddos sleep through their whole visit! No cracking, twisting, or popping involved, ever! We’re trained specifically to safely care for your precious new child... using just the pressure you would use to check the ripeness of an avocado.
“I really wish I would have known about this kind of chiropractic care for my kid sooner!” Honestly, it’s the remark we hear most often here in our office from parents. Especially when their child starts improving from things like: Poor sleeping, irregular digestion, ear infections, consistently getting sick at daycare, missing milestones, bedwetting, and more!
They’re surprised at how simple the solution can actually be. And it all really boils down to one thing amongst all of our next generation: The power and know-how that made their little bodies from just two cells, is also responsible for healing them, too! We just help unleash it.
In other words, their nervous system knows absolute best! And if we can take tension off of it so it works more efficiently, healing happens. It’s never too late to have your child checked. And we do testing to see if and where we can help. Because healthy kids grow into healthy adults!
It’s easier to tweak a twig than to untwist a whole tree. Our hearts are here for your family and it’s our greatest honor to serve them. Both Drs. Molly and Andy have extensive knowledge in the pediatric field, and have taken additional training and formal courses through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association to improve their care.
Animal Chiropractic Care
Our furry four-leggers are irreplaceable and even priceless in value. We know our pup Venchi and horse Vegas are! This alone makes our vocation both rewarding... and a tall order. It also means that we care deeply about appropriately and safely caring for your animal, while making it a positive, stress-free visit as opposed to a traumatic and anxiety-inducing event. That’s why we’ve gone to great lengths to sharpen our skills and learn from the best of the best.
Amongst all of our animal chiropractic success stories, one vital factor remains the same. Whether it’s vertigo, lameness, limping, anxiety, or digestive issues to name a few... healing can be traced back to this: with greater nervous system communication, comes greater health.
1. Your animal’s brain runs their show.
2. Their brain sends messages to every organ, tissue, and muscle by way of the spinal cord and according nerves... like coordinating tail wags, turning into barrels, jumping into trucks, and face licks.
3. If their spinal cord’s communication is hindered due to imbalances of the spine, of which the spinal cord is attached, health and function is thereby altered. Think... it’s like a guitar string!
If communication is restored by removal of such interferences with a fair side of time... greater health, and greater tail wags, are to follow!. Both Drs. Molly and Andy have extensive knowledge in the animal chiropractic field, and have taken additional training and formal courses through Parker University in Dallas, Texas to obtain their licensure.
